Never fear! The Genre Conversation is here! Following that is a discussion on NOSFERATU, followed by an extremely basic review of LET THE RIGHT ONE IN, and a short but sweet review of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS after everyone's brains exploded. It's all here on an episode that features, passive aggressive Tom, Oprah chia latte out of five, Fallout 4, Skype, Pineapple Crush, Michael complaining about gore, Tom being a huge snob, Caitlin mispronouncing names, and NOSFERATU! This week it's another exciting sequel episode, as the Genre Conversation gang goes back to the stage for some more movie musicals. Without Caitlin to keep them on track, Michael and Tommy go on a strange adventure filled with nonsensical tangents and various missteps. First in this weeks edition of LOVE AND OTHER STUFF, Tommy checks out INSIDE OUT, while Michael takes on Tommy's challenge to watch the original SOLARIS and lives to tell the tale! Stick around to find out what he challenges Tommy to for next week! After that the duo looks at the first film up for review SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, which may see a first for this podcast as Michael potentially considers giving the film a five star review. Following that is a discussion on HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2, minus the one person who actually had positive things to say about the series, before a quick and simple review of LES MISERABLES (2012). It's all here on an episode that features Disney, Pixar, Genre Conversation Fave Roger Ebert, a missing Caitlin, Michael driving Tommy insane, The Nostalgia Critic, Zac Efron, Tommy being a huge snob, and much much more. This is one episode that will have you winning arguments by saying "because Solaris". As always we would like to thank you for listening. Please send your emails to genreconversation@gmail.com Join us next time as we plan to tackle Space Opera movies featuring STAR WARS EPISODE IV: A NEW HOPE, STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN, and THE FIFTH ELEMENT. You know what gets me in the mood for some epic dancing, and hobnobbing with hotties? Podcasts. And card games on motorcycles, which we don't have, but we here at the Genre Conversation can provide you with the first part-- the podcast part, because you know we are a podcast. This podcast is about Dance Movies, but first we have to tackle and exciting Love and Other Stuff, where Michael discusses the new FINAL FANTASY SEVEN REMAKE TRAILER, Caitlin watches another modern horror film with INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 3, and Tommy was challenged to watch THE BABADOOK by Caitlin for this week's challenge. Find out who challenge, and what they challenged them too for next week! After that, its time for the dancing to begin, and begin it does with SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER, the misogynistic John Travolta vehicle from the 70s. Following that the gang looks at FLASHDANCE, which Tommy loves for its complete ridiculousness. Finally its FOOTLOOSE, where Kevin Bacon is literally god. Its an episode that features dancing, and lots of it. As always we would like to thank you for listening. Who you gunna call? The Genre Conversation, as this week the gang tackles Caitlin's favourite topic movies in which evil spirits take over people and whatnot (#2spooky). But first we have our very first listener email asking us a multitude of interesting questions. After that it's another exciting edition of LOVE AND OTHER STUFF, where this week Michael takes on the classic British dark comedy TV series RED DWARF, Tommy checks out EX MACHINA, and Caitlin debuts our new challenge segment by accepting Tommy's challenge to watch INHERENT VICE. Find out what she challenged Tommy to for next week! After that it's our topic of the day, where we start by battling the devil with the original OMEN film from 1976. After that it's the 21st century defining PARANORMAL ACTIVITY, which sparks a debate between the group about horror in the 21st century. Finally, Michael has to run, which prompts Tommy and Caitlin to review the original EVIL DEAD film on their own. It's an episode that features a new segment, Caitlin mispronouncing names, Tommy being a huge snob, emails, coming films, jump scares, Tommy's missing computer, trees, stoner noir, and much much more. This is one episode that'll be talked about 'round the campfire for ages to come! As always we would like to thank you for listening. On this week's episode that is two or so weeks late, Tommy is too lazy to provide all of you with a detailed description of what happens, but all you really need to know is that we talk about THE WITCHER 3, SOUTHLAND TALES, MAD MAX: FURY ROAD, THE AVENGERS, and MORE!!! This week the Genre Conversation angrily fetches in the long awaited return featuring Dog Movies! Our apologies for the lengthy hiatus we won't do it again, until the next time we do it again. First up is a jam packed LOVE AND OTHER STUFF in which Michael plays DRAGONAGE: INQUISITION, Caitlin gets her Matthew Vaughn on for THE KINGSMEN, and Tommy goes overboard with eleven items in another exciting lightning round featuring AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, WHY DON'T YOU PLAY IN HELL?, and much much more! Following that is our very first dog movie HOMEWARD BOUND: THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY, which Michael watched a lot as a kid and holds great nostalgia for, and Tommy did not. Somehow the discussion leads to a deep analysis of our own childhoods and what makes us such strange people (NOTE: STUDY INCONCLUSIVE). Following that is some good old fashioned Genre Conversation hating on AIR BUD (1997), and a discussion on what exactly makes a good dog movie through AMORES PERROS. It's an episode that features Tommy being a massive snob, Tommy not having a childhood, Caitlin's childhood, Michael's childhood, Dogs, Bunny Rabbits, Reviews of Mayweather Pacquiao, Caitlin mispronouncing names, Michael complaining about the title of Birdman, and much much more! This is one episode you won't have to sit and roll over to enjoy! As always we would like to thank you for listening. Episode 18- Cyberpunk

In this weeks episode its arguing the podcast, as we discuss Cyberpunk films. But first, in this years edition of LOVE AND OTHER STUFF Michael professes his love for DRAGONBALL Z ABRIDGED, Caitlin heads out to the theatre for the new live action remake of CINDERELLA, and Tommy questions why the first nine episodes of HOUSE OF CARDS couldn't have been as good as the last three. After that its the first of many arguments, and this one is certainly the most pointless, as we discuss the definition of Cyberpunk, and if The Matrix is actually a cyberpunk movie (it is). After that its our first film BLADE RUNNER, a movie in which Michael contradicts everything he's ever said, and Tommy brings up the question of is Ridley Scott overrated, which leads to you guessed it, an argument; this time Caitlin and Michael argue with Tommy who does indeed think Ridley Scott is overrated. Following that however, is the main event ROBOCOP, which leads to the loudest argument of all time between Michael, who likes the film, and Tommy who hates it. It's loud and long, while Caitlin questions why the movie couldn't have had more scenes where robots have temper tantrums on the stairs. Finally Caitlin manages to get the boys back on track so we can finish with the one review that doesn't have an argument-- PI. Then to wrap everything up it's the first round of QUIZ BOWL season two, this time rehashing the old game It Sucks, which focuses on bad Letterboxd reviews for popular movies. It's an episode that features arguing and lots of it, Robocops, weird attractive cats, Caitlin being sedated, Tommy yelling at Michael, satire, Michael mispronouncing names, Caitlin actually reading something perfectly (it surprised the hell out of us too), and much much more. This is one episode which you'll be able to listen to in whatever poorly constructed dystopian future we end up living in. As always we would like to thank you for listening. Be sure to subscribe on iTunes, and send us an email at genreconversation@gmail.com. Episode 17- Man Vs. Nature

With Caitlin unable to make this week's episode, Tommy and Michael suffer (while mainly just Michael, Tommy didn't suffer) through a foreign concept to them- nature- specifically looking at films where Man heads out into nature with minimal supplies, because people totally want to leave all the comfort of civilization behind and go out there with no food, and no water, and no showers, and no shampoo, and... Sorry, I promised I wasn't going to complain about nature in this week's episode description. Anyway, before we complain about nature we have to do LOVE AND OTHER STUFF. This week, Michael plays digging phenomenon STEAMWORLD DIG, Tommy uses WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS to advocate for the theatre going experience, and duo talks about the recent SNL 40th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL and the effect of the show on the cultural lexicon. After that is an exciting segment where Tommy and Michael try their hand at incorrectly predicting what will win come Oscar Sunday! Following that is the first review on Nicholas Roeg's WALKABOUT, a movie which Michael watched three minutes of, and confused the living daylights out of Tommy. Then the boys look at INTO THE WILD, which SPOILER ALERT, neither particularly enjoy. Finally, Tommy gives an extremely favourable review of MEEK'S CUTOFF, and then proceeds to get mad at Michael for saying that talking about the movie without having seen the film means that you remove all preconceptions of the film. This leads to an extremely tangental argument on the Mona Lisa. It's all here on an episode that features Tommy hating nature, Michael and Tommy arguing, nobody mispronouncing names, Tommy being a huge snob, Vlad the Poker, confusion, tangents, video games, did we mention tangents, and lots and lots of arguing. This is one episode that probably goes better indoors so you don't have bears interrupting whatever nonsense we're spouting! As always we would like to thank you for listening!
